Setup guides
Work through these in order the first time. Each guide is written for one device and one task, and says exactly which on-screen labels to look for.
What to have in front of you
Only the install guides work with nothing else to hand. Everything after them needs the playlist details your own IPTV service issued you, because InoxTV carries no channels of its own and cannot look those details up for you. If you do not have them yet, that is the thing to sort out first, and no setting inside the app substitutes for it.
What you were given also decides which guide you want:
- One link, or a playlist file already sitting on the device — add an M3U playlist.
- A server address with a username and a password — add an Xtream Codes playlist.
- A portal address tied to a MAC address — add a Stalker Portal playlist.
If your service offers more than one of the three, the choice is worth a minute rather than a coin toss. Choosing a playlist type sets out what each one costs you in start‑up time, in whether films and series arrive as films and series, and in whether programme data comes along with it.
The order that saves rework
Install, then playlist, then TV guide, then everything else. That is not tidiness. An empty channel list and a missing programme guide look almost identical on screen, and people regularly rebuild a playlist that was working perfectly while chasing a guide problem. Getting one channel to play before you change anything else tells you which half of the setup you are actually in.
Your first hour with InoxTV walks that whole path once, end to end. Follow it if you would rather not stop and decide what to read next at every step.
These are written per device, not per platform
The television build and the phone build are separate interfaces rather than one layout at two sizes, so the install pages are separate too: Android TV and Google TV, Fire TV Stick, and Android phones and tablets. The playlist guides after them cover both builds and call out the screens where the two diverge.
One guide sits outside the sequence. Backup and restore is worth reading before you have a reason to, because the moment you need it is usually the moment you have just lost the settings it would have saved.

Installing the app
-
Installing InoxTV on Android TV
From Play where it appears, by direct download where it does not, plus why some boxes hide it.

Installing InoxTV on Fire TV
Downloader code 2910810, the permission Amazon hides, and how updates work afterwards.

Adding a playlist
-
Which playlist type should you choose?
The differences that actually matter between the three connection types, and which one to pick.
-
Adding an M3U playlist
Both routes in: an M3U link from your provider, or a playlist file already on the device.
-
Adding an Xtream Codes playlist
Server, username and password, plus how to read all three out of an M3U link you already have.
-
Adding a Stalker Portal playlist
Portal URL, MAC address, and the optional fields that stricter portals insist on.
